Data Privacy Statement

We, zipcon consulting GmbH, Am Buchenhain 4, 45239 Essen, Germany, are the operator of this website and the provider of the services detailed here and are therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data in line with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Teleservices Act (TMG). Handling your personal data properly is one of our top priorities. For that reason we should like to inform you below about how we handle your personal data.
We use your personal data in compliance with valid data protection regulations. Below we shall explain what data we collect, how we use that data and what rights you have vis-à-vis us in respect of how your data is used:

1. Collection, Storage and Use of Personal Data

We collect the following mandatory data from you when you register for the “Online Print Symposium Munich 2018” event at our website:

• Company
• Name (Surname, First Name);
• E-Mail Address;
• Address (Street, Number, Place, Zip Code, Country);
• Telephone Number
• Position as media representative.

Disclosure of other information is voluntary.
The above-mentioned data is collected for the following reasons:

• to have cognizance of who our contractual partner is;
• to explain, draft the content of, execute and amend the contractual relationship with you in terms of participation in the event as well as use of the event app;
• to calculate the participation fee (reduced participation fee for members)
• to check the plausibility of the data submitted and your eligibility as an entrepreneur;
• to contact you, if necessary, if any issues need to be clarified and
• if you propose using the event app , to provide your contact details to other registered participants for contact purposes.

Provided you have not objected to its use, we use your e-mail address to inform you about future online print events that we organize. You can object to such use of your e-mail address at any time, to take effect in the future, by contacting us at the contact points detailed in Section 7, without incurring any costs other than transmission costs at basic rates.

2. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

If you download the password-protected event app, we shall provide the data that you supplied when you registered (see Section I. 1.) to other registered event app users for the purposes of making contact with you to the extent that you determined when you downloaded the app. You can change this scope of approval at any time via the event app settings.

For the purposes of event planning and execution, we shall communicate the data that you have supplied to both the other organizers – Bundesverband Druck und Medien e.V., Friedrichstraße 194-199, 10117 Berlin, Germany and Fogra Forschungsinstitut für Medientechnologien e.V., Einsteinring 1a, 85609 Aschheim bei München, Germany.

We forward your data to our ticket shop service provider, doo GmbH, St.-Martin-Str. 58-68, 81541 Munich, for online registration and payment processing purposes.

Your data will not be disclosed to other third parties for any other purposes. The only exceptions to this are if the there is a statutory obligation to disclose your personal data or if disclosure is required to enable us to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce any claims arising out of this contractual relationship with you.

3. Cookies

In many respects cookies help to make your visit to our website easier, more convenient and more useful. Cookies are alphanumeric information files that your web browser saves automatically on the hard drive of your computer when you visit our website.
Cookies neither damage the hard drive of your computer nor does the placing of cookies disclose any personal data to us.

if you have downloaded the event app, you can view and amend your personal data that we have stored there via the settings functions.
You can delete any of your data stored in the event app at any time. This can be done by deleting the event app or sending an e-mail with the relevant request to datenschutz@zipcon.de. We should like to point out that if your data is deleted from the event app, you may not be able to use the event app at all or to the full extent.
